FAQs

How long does it take to see results from vitamin C?

Most people see improved brightness within 2-3 weeks of consistent daily use. Visible reduction in pigmentation and sun damage takes 8-12 weeks. Always use vitamin C in the morning under SPF for best results.

What’s the difference between AHA and BHA

AHA (alpha hydroxy acids — glycolic, lactic, mandelic) are water-soluble, work on the skin’s surface, and are best for dullness and pigmentation. BHA (beta hydroxy acid — salicylic) is oil-soluble, penetrates pores, and is best for congestion and acne. Many routines benefit from both used on alternating nights.

Is exfoliation safe to do every day

Most skin types do better with exfoliation 2-4 times a week. Daily acid use can compromise the skin barrier even on resilient skin. PHAs (polyhydroxy acids) are the gentlest option if you want daily acid use.

Why is my skin dull even after using brightening products?

Three usual suspects: not enough sleep, not enough water (internally), and not enough SPF (UV exposure dulls tone faster than any serum can brighten it). Clean skincare works best as part of the wider picture.
